Hi Greg,

The book arrived yesterday, and it is great…getting into it already…..one question  assume that a shuffle would

be 2nd line and then 1st line….correct?      Looking forward  to your new products as they become available        Neil

  1. Neil,
You are exactly right on the shuffle- second line then first line. The notation breaks the shuffle down into each of the sounds.

Keep in mind that this system presents steps quite a bit differently than traditional tap classes because of the additional information. Might take a bit to get used to, but ultimately, you should be able to pick up an entire tap routine in notation and read it, just like a song for the piano. That’s the goal, anyway.
Good luck, and if you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to send them this way.
    Greg
